Midway Manufacturing was founded in 1958 by Henry Ross and Marcine Wolverton as an amusement game manufacturer. The company scored its first mainstream hit with the U.S. distribution of Space Invaders in 1978. Midway lead the arcade revolution with franchises like Mortal Kombat, Rampage, Spy Hunter, NBA Jam, Cruis'n, and NFL Blitz to become the fourth largest video game publisher in the world.
